Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]AlF-NOTA is a radiolabeled complex consisting of the positron-emitting radionuclide fluorine-18 ([18F]) coordinated with aluminum (Al3+) and chelated by 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA). This complex acts as a stable, pseudo-radiometal platform that can be conjugated to various targeting vectors, such as peptides, small molecules, or antibodies, to create positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracers. The Al[18F]-NOTA labeling strategy allows for rapid, high-yield, and stable radiolabeling under relatively mild aqueous conditions, making it highly suitable for clinical translation and centralized radiopharmaceutical production.
